San Francisco Treat

We took a little family vacation this past weekend to the bay area of California to pick up these bad boys. Yes, there is a car in the back of Jason's truck!! Jason has an obsession with these funny little Trabi's. They are East German Communist cars. We got the best looks on the freeway--I'm surprised we didn't cause a wreck. While in California we went down to Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco. I had never been to Northern California, so it was so fun to see all the historical landmarks-- like the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Ghridelli square. I loved the city-- so old and beautiful. Jason and I decided we need to go back when we are not pulling a trailer-- it cost us $9 to drive across the bay bridge-- gotta love toll roads/bridges. The kids were so good-- they had fun watching people fish for crabs and looking at all the big boats.

Easter and Six Months

My sweet little baby is 6 months old today!!! She went to the Dr. for shots and her well baby check this morning. She is tiny--height: 26 inches, Weight: 14 pounds 3 oz. She is almost exactly the same size Kate was at 4 months!! She is sitting all by herself. She loves to "talk" to us and "sing". She is such a good baby!! I can't believe how fast she is growing up-- time flies way to quickly!!
Easter-- I had fun dressing the girls up in matching dresses, shoes and hair bows-- they looked so cute!!
We had a fun Easter. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Jones's for an amazing Easter dinner, games, and an Easter egg hunt. They always plan such fun Holidays!! This is my attempt at getting a cute picture of all three kids. It was pretty much impossible to get them to all look at the camera at once, even so, I think they are so precious!!

House. Hair. Happy Endings

Our house is really starting to come along. We have Sheetrock and are working on trim and other finishes. This is a picture of one of the fireplaces-- yes, we are going to paint the walls a different color besides white
The tin ceiling. A local entrepreneur was remodeling a building downtown-- it had these beautiful ceiling tiles in it from the early 1900's . They were unable to use them because many were badly damaged, so Jason got permission and went and tore them down-- it took him forever--like 18 hours or something. He worked all afternoon and util 3:00 in the morning. That was a couple months ago. Recently Jason rehung them in our new house, in the kitchen-- this took even longer--like every night for an entire week and all day Saturday, but they are beautiful. I think we are going to spray them with a heavy primer and then paint them their original bronze color. I think they are so neat and will give the house so much character-- yes, I am married to an amazing man who likes to make beautiful things!!
Garage doors-- this picture is for my sister who really wanted to see our new garage doors. They are kind of like the carriage style, but more simple and much cheaper!! I think they turned out cute-oh, and no our house is not going to be beige and gray-- that's primer :0)!!
Karson got a haircut the other day and they put yellow gel in it and spiked it into a fohawk. He looked so cute!!

Happy Endings--- and for the happy endings!! I finished my masters defense last Tuesday and it went really well-- it's was a huge emotional rollercoaster that I am so glad is over and to make it even better it ended well. My entire committe wants me to pursue publication and my study was just presented at the AAPPHERD conference (it's a big thing for health professionals) in Tampa, FL and was really well received-- yeah!! The other happy thing is I only have 4 more weeks of my online class and then I'm totally done with my masters!! Yeah again!!

Testing, Testing

So, it didn't work on my computer so I am trying again on my in-laws....

Let's see if this works...

So, most of my friends and family have blog lists that update when their friends/family update their blogs-- I am a slacker and have yet to do this, but that's another story... Well for some reason my blog is not showing up on anyone's lists even though I have updated it now 3 times. I guess I'll see if this works.

First Food

Karson and Kate were so excited for me to come home from Florida because I promised them that we could start feeding Claire rice cereal. My mom bought her this super cute bib!! She was so cute... I'm not sure she really ate much-- mostly just spit it back at me. It's been about a week since this first attempt and she actually ate some tonight!!

Florida, Five Months, Friends!!

Claire and I went to Florida to meet my new little niece Tessa Rose. She is so beautiful!! We had a blast hanging out in the 80 degree weather!! We went to the beach, an orange stand, and picked strawberries!! So yummy and fun!! I had so much fun hanging out with my mom and sister shopping and relaxing!! I think I want to go back every year for spring break-- it was so nice to escape from the cold for a little while.

Tessa looked so beautiful!! My mom made her blessing dress-- it turned out so cute, especially for Florida!!
Karson and Clarie are best friends!! They have so much fun playing together!! I think they look so much a like!!
