Skiing, Claire, and Computers

"Oh, Claire Bear!!" She is such a sweet little thing!!! Yesterday I flat ironed her hair and told her she looked cute. She then said, "Take a picture of me!!" It's her new thing lately whenever we say she's cute--which is quite often, since I think she is about the cutest thing in the world. She really is such a good little girl, especially considering she is two!
Karson has become quite the little skier this year!! Jason and him have season passes and have been up on the mountain quite a few times. Karson is doing so well!! He's mastered the ski lift, been down some fairly difficult runs, and even took off his "wedgie" last time he went-- I think his little legs are starting to get stronger.
Jason took Kate skiing too. She made it down one run in 45 minutes; cried the whole time; almost hit a tree, which she was very concerned about since she had an allergic skin reaction to our Christmas tree. I guess as she was heading towards the tree she was yelling, "I can't hit the tree, I'm allergic to Christmas trees!!--Classic Kate :0)!! But, after it was all said and done she "loved it" and can't wait to go again!!! I love this picture of Kate and Jason on the ski lift. Jason made her a seatbelt with his ski pole, Kate was very pleased with this and told me all about it-- it was her first time on a lift-- last year they didn't venture off the bunny hill.

Our laptop's motherboard went out. Jason decided to try to fix it. We had pictures and my thesis on it. He bought a new motherboard online, and set to work--watching U tube videos to teach him how. The process was a success-- I was so impressed with Jason's skills!!! He had talked to a few computer guys and both of them said that they had never replaced a motherboard, but Jason is just amazing with things like that!! We were able to get all the pictures and stuff off the computer that we wanted, and it only cost $45 instead of 3 or 4 hundred! The computer still had problems overheating, so we bought a new computer with our Christmas money--thanks Mom and Dad and Grandma H!!!

Lia's blessing

Lia was given a beautiful blessing by her daddy on Sunday!!! She is such a sweet baby!!! She is happy most of the time and smiles and coos at us often. We love her so much! My mom made her blessing dress--I love it! She looked so beautiful all dressed in white!

This picture didn't flip around, but I wanted one that showed her entire dress.
The family!! Oh how I love my family!!!!! I seriously am sooooo blessed to be married to an amazing man and have 4 beauitful children!!!

Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!!! I totally posted these pics in backwards order--oh well!! I'm so late posting about Christmas because our computer is broken. Our kids were at such fun ages this year and it was so fun to have our sweet little Lia!!! Here she is with all her loot!!
Kate with all her gifts--she asked Santa for a table and chairs!
Karson and his new bike!!
The Christmas tree on Christmas Eve after Santa came!!
Santa came to the Jones house!!
Christmas eve= new jammies!!

We opened presents with Jason's fam on Christmas eve-- all the girls got dress-up outfits-- too cute!!
We acted out the nativity!! Jason and I were Mary and Joseph since we had the youngest baby. Karson was a shepherd and Kate and Claire were Wisemen! It is a tradition I love so much!
The whole Nativity!
Right before Christmas we went and visited my cute grandma--here she is with little miss Lia!
And Claire... Claire loves my grandma to read to her!
While in Boise we visited Santa in the mall. We waited in line for an hour, but I guess by the kids faces it was worth it!

My friend Angela recently took pictures of Lia!! She gave me a sneak peek by emailing me this one and I had to share-- Isn't she sooo precious!
I decided to make stockings this year. I saw some like this in Better Homes and Gardens and decided to give it a try. They're made with sweaters, cute flannel, and felt. They looked like they'd be so fun and easy. I love how they turned out, but they were soo not easy-- they took forever!

One of our favorite traditions is going into the mountains and getting our Christmas tree it's so beautiful up there and I love the fresh pine in my home!!

Pictures of Lia!

We gave Lia her first "real" bath today. She didn't like it too much. Claire helped and had fun splashing and making my kitchen "all clean". She looks so much like Kate in this picture!!
My sister came to take care of me after the baby. Here is my cute niece Tess with her cousins!
Karson lost one of his front teeth on Friday. He was so proud!! I told him that now he just needs to lose the other one and he can sing "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!!!"
Cute yawns!!
We love our sweet little Lia so much!!! She is a great baby!! Content almost all of the time. She is finally figuring out her nights and days-- which makes her mommy so happy!!! She was a little confused for awhile and wanted to sleep all day and play all night, but she only woke up 2 times last night--yeah!!!!
Claire is one proud big sister. her face says it all-- she loves her new baby!! She is always wanting to hold her. It's so cute she says, "Wia on my Wap,"
This picture is just for journaling purposes--this was taken right before we left for the hospital on Monday morning!

She's Here!!!

Our sweet little Lia is here!!! 7 lbs. 3 oz. 19 inches. She was born last night at 4:56 after 8 hours of labor. I usually have my babies in under 2 hours, so this was a long day for us! She is so perfect!! I think she looks a lot like Kate. We are both feeling great--just hanging out in the hospital enjoying her!

Halloween!!!

My little princesses!!! I love this picture-- they are both smiling so cute!!! I sure do think I have the cutest little girlies in the world!
All dressed up and ready to go!!! We had a wonderful Halloween complete with a party and grandma and grandpa's and trick-or-treating! Kate was Cinderella. She insisted that she needed to be a blond princess either Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty and that Clarie had to be Belle, because she has brown hair--too cute!!! Karson was a vampire--his hair is so perfect for a little Dracula!
We made these cute little spider cookies earlier in the day on Saturday. I originally saw them as cupcakes, but we don't love cupcakes, so we made them out of homemade oreos--so yummy!
Friday night we carved pumpkins!!! The kids were so funny! We had them clean out their own pumpkins the best they could Karson and Kate dug right in, but Claire wanted nothing to do with it!!! The pumpkins turned out so cute and the kids were so proud of them! Too bad some punk kid kicked Claire's in last night!! She was so funny this morning. I brought the pumpkin in to throw it away and she said "my pumpkin?" with a puzzled look... I told her that some naughty kids did it. She said, "Kate, did it?" I told her no, "Karson did it?" No just some kids that were naughty. " Oh naughty kids!" Then she went on her way. I was glad it was her pumpkin and not Karson or Kate's-- there definitely would have been tears.
Last Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with Jared and Abby's family-- it is one of my favorite fall traditions!
