Halloween!!!

My little princesses!!! I love this picture-- they are both smiling so cute!!! I sure do think I have the cutest little girlies in the world!
All dressed up and ready to go!!! We had a wonderful Halloween complete with a party and grandma and grandpa's and trick-or-treating! Kate was Cinderella. She insisted that she needed to be a blond princess either Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty and that Clarie had to be Belle, because she has brown hair--too cute!!! Karson was a vampire--his hair is so perfect for a little Dracula!
We made these cute little spider cookies earlier in the day on Saturday. I originally saw them as cupcakes, but we don't love cupcakes, so we made them out of homemade oreos--so yummy!
Friday night we carved pumpkins!!! The kids were so funny! We had them clean out their own pumpkins the best they could Karson and Kate dug right in, but Claire wanted nothing to do with it!!! The pumpkins turned out so cute and the kids were so proud of them! Too bad some punk kid kicked Claire's in last night!! She was so funny this morning. I brought the pumpkin in to throw it away and she said "my pumpkin?" with a puzzled look... I told her that some naughty kids did it. She said, "Kate, did it?" I told her no, "Karson did it?" No just some kids that were naughty. " Oh naughty kids!" Then she went on her way. I was glad it was her pumpkin and not Karson or Kate's-- there definitely would have been tears.
Last Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with Jared and Abby's family-- it is one of my favorite fall traditions!

Happy 2nd B-day Claire!!!

Our little Claire Bear turned 2 yesterday!!!! She was up all night the night before with a fever and was not quite her normal peppy self-- but she did love her cupcake...
and presents...
and her tutu!!! She is such a funny little thing. We can't get enough of our little Claire!!! She is developing so much personality and is talking more and more every day-- the things she comes up with crack us up!! 2 year stats: 22 lbs, 32 in. tall-- she's going to be shrimpy like her mama!
My mom bought these little dresses when she was here this fall. We had quite the Indian summer, so the girls hadn't been able to wear them before she left. This picture was taken on Sunday before going to our sweet little niece, Lucy's, baby blessing.

7 and Yellowstone

Happy Birthday Karson!!!! Karson turned 7 last Friday!!! We had a Lego cake last night to celebrate, because we spent his birthday on a little family vacation in Yellowstone! We had so much fun exploring the park and spending some quality time with just our little family!!!
The kids at the playground at the beautiful condo in West Yellowstone! Karson opened his birthday presents here before we headed to the Bear and Wolf thingy (can't remember its name ;0).
Swimming at the condo pool!
The kids in Yellowstone-- we actually got a cute shot where they are all smiling--miracles do happen!
This is my favorite spot in Yellowstone-- so beautiful!
Cute Kate!

Sewing again!!

I am finally sewing again. I was just not in sewing mode for the first part of my pregnancy, but have been having fun making some little Sunday clothes for Claire. I saw a skirt like this in a magazine for like $48!!! I thought, "I could make that." So, I did-- I think it will be so cute to twirl in.
I just finished this dress this morning. I saw this fun fabric at the Gathering Place (the most amazing fabric store ever!) and had to create something, so I thought I'd make Clarie a fun dress in fall colors. I think I will top it with a cute little cardigan.

Happy Birthday Jason!!

Jason turned 31 yesterday!! We celebrated with dinner at Chilli's on Sat. night -- thanks again Chad and Bonnie!! Yesterday we had family over for dinner. We forgot to take pictures of that, but did take some with Jason and his favorite chocolate pie. We had yummy peach dessert right after dinner that Bonnie brought over, but the kids insisted on eating some chocolate pie complete with candles and singing happy birthday before they went to bed! We love Jason so much!!! He is such a great husband and daddy!!!

Kate had her first day of preschool last Monday!!! She was so cute and ready to go! She just marched in the door like she owned the place. She picked out her back-to-school outfit all by herself!! She is getting to be so grown up!

First Day of School and The chair

Karson had his first day of 1st grade on Monday!! He is getting so big! In good old Idaho we start full days of school in first grade--this has been quite the adjustment for me. I miss my big boy-- he is such a good helper and is so fun to have around. The good thing is, he is loving school. The girls and I just miss him.
So, I bought this fabric about a year ago... loved it... thought I would try my hand at upholstery. That lasted about a week-- working for hours on end and accomplishing nothing. That chair still sits in our basement. Jason found this little chair at a thrift store and we took it to our favorite upholstery shop and got it professionally redone. I love how it turned out. The pictures don't do it justice all the little details on it are sooo cute.
Here's another pic. with the arm and back covers on.-- I can't decide which way I like it better.

Just had to include this one. Karson and his little buddy-- these two are so cute together!

Fair, Fishing, Fun!!!

It's that time of year again... when we pretend to be cowboys and cowgirls and have a blast at the county fair and rodeo!!! Karson loves it. I think if he had his way he would be a "real" cowboy! I do think he looks oh so cute in his cowboy hat...
The three kids at the fair!!!
The parade!!! We were lucky this year to have all the little Jones cousins together for the parade!!
And here are the future Jones cousins-- all girls again!!!! Abby was due Friday and we're praying she'll have her little one any day. Kiley is due in Sept. and I'm aiming for the end of Oct!!!
A few weeks ago we went to Boise and toured the capital building with my mom, dad, and sister. It was a lot of fun!!! Karson and Kate are pretending to run the state in the Senate chambers.
Karson and Jason went fishing at the Jones family outing and unfortunatly it was the only pictures that we took. I'll have to steal some from other people. Karson loves to go fishing with his dad. They woke up at 4 am, hiked a few miles to a lake and fished for 4 hours and then hiked back and he loved it all. He's getting to be quite the little adventure man.
